Webtoons and Comics
I first started getting into webtoons and manhwas (korean comics) in middle school (6th-8th grade) and let me just tell you that as soon as I discovered them, I was absolutely hooked. I mean I read for hours on end after school, spent late nights up to read, and finished series in days. Webtoons consumed me, and at the peak of my obsession I was reading about 50~ series updating weekly at the same time. Don't ask me how I did that, even I don't know. Now that phase has kinda passed by with a few exceptions so here is a list of all my reccomended webtoons. Because I have wayy too many reccomendations, I listed them in catagories of their genres.

- I'm the Grim Reaper (Supernatural) This one was actually my 1st webtoon I've ever read which is why I included it in special mentions! From what I remember it's good, at one point I stopped reading it though.
- Windbreaker (Sports) This webtoon was one of my favorites, it was about bike riding but I found out that the creator actually got canceled before the webtoon ended because he was caught tracing other artists' works. I really liked the story but in no ways do I support what he ended up doing. Anyway, now it's taken down from the platform and I stopped reading.

Plave
Plave is currently the biggest Kpop group that I actively stan! If you have been in the kpop scene you have probably heard of them. They consist of 5 members, Yejun, Hamin, Eunho, Bamby, and Noah. If I had to choose a bias, it's Bamby and Hamin although I stan each of them as ot5 more. One of the reasons why I stan them besides their music is how funny they are! Anytime I watch compilations of them I know I'm in for a serious laughing session.
Here's some fun facts about them:
First, they are under VLAST which is not a normal kpop/talent agency and is instead specifically for virtual idols where they use motion capture and VFX effects. Plave are absolutely NOT AI and are real people. It's kinda like vtubers where they have a model over them.
Because they are under a tech entertainment company, members of Plave produce and choreograph all of their songs. Yejun, Noah, and Eunho are in charge of producing and writing the songs while Hamin and Bamby are responsible for the choreography.
The members usually have lives where they stream and play games. Because they are not under the same regulations and monitoring of kpop agencies, they are allowed to essentially play whatever game they desire. They have played horror games like Poppy Playtime or shooter games. It's really entertaining to watch them play horror games in particular because some members don't react at all while others *Yejun ahem* get really jumpy.
Why I decided to stan them:
Before glazing them and listing why I really like them, I'll answer the question of what is stanning and what does it mean in the kpop community? The difference between a stan and a fan is a fan is someone who only listens to their music meanwhile a stan will listen to the music, promote it, keep up with updates of the group, purchase merchandise, attend concerts, and engage with the community. (It's basically just a devoted fan) Being a stan is not the same as being a toxic fan. Kpop has their own term which is a sasaeng. They are characterized as an overly obsessive/stalker/toxic fan. Anyway, Plave is one kpop group that I support and like to engage in more than other kpop artists. Here are my reasons why I've come to support them:
- They create really good music The most obvious thing of why I would like them is because they create songs that I really enjoy. In 2025 for my Spotify Wrapped, they ended up coming on top as my number 1 artist and my list of top 5 songs that I streamed had 3 of their songs. In their discography, I've enjoyed each song except for their osts to be honest. Personally I don't really like slow ballads but I do like all their songs from their albums except "From" from ASTERUM: 134-1 although I have recently been listening to it more and liking it especially because it reminds me of a part from one of their lives where Yejun created his own choreo for the song which was hilarious. Personally, my favorite song from them overall is "Why?" (you can listen to this in the music section of my website) but I also think that "I Just Love Ya" and "Pump Up the Volume" are close seconds. I love the catchiness to their songs and their upbeat tones.
- I find them extremely funny Before Plave was popular, they went viral for their glitching compilations. This is how a lot of people became fans of them and discovered the world of virtual idols. Now their tech is better but they are still just as funny and unhindged. Plave has streams regualrly where they play video games and have also appeared in a variety of interviews and TV shows. This compilation and this one cracks me up so much and watching videos with them are really entertaining. Also this live here with Yejun and the rap line (Eunho and Hamin the rappers of the group) teaching him how to rap is actually the funniest thing I've ever seen it's actually so good, I was dying for the whole video.
- The members have great chemistry This kinda relates to my point before this but all of the members have so much chemistry together and get along just like a friend group. Apparently Yataz (Bamby and Eunho) (Also if you didn't know Yataz is the name for the pairing of the 2, this is different from a romantic ship name it's more like a team name) knew each other before joining Plave which is why they are so funny together and act like siblings. (istg every video I see with the two of them Eunho is annoying Bamby and Bamby is trying to beat him up lmaoo just like this one)
- I love their concept The last reason why I stan them is because I love their concept. Plave is not the first virtual idol group, but they are the first successful virtual idol group to be popular and be in the mainstream kpop world. I really like groups that break up norms and I feel like Plave is one group that steps in the direction of the unknown and the new things that you can do with technology. (just a reminder again they are not AI)
Not only do they make good music, but they are really talented as well. For example, this video of the producer line (Yejun, Eunho, and Noah) making their song "Pump Up the Volume" really highlights their teamwork and strengths in creating songs and I find it really interesting to compare the video footage to the final verson of the song that's already released.
The thing about their music is that the stats show and reflect their talent and just how yummy their songs are. They recently came out with their new song "BBUU!" which has topped the charts in Korea despite the fact that they are a virtual idol group. They were the first 5th gen to go one Killing Voice and have gained mass popularity making a name for them in the kpop community.
Another thing I think they do insanely well is their covers. The first cover of theirs that I actually found was Noahs cover of Sugarcoat by Natty from Kiss of Life which blew my mind away with how good it sounded. I really liked the original song and I usually don't like covers but I thought that Noah definitely did it justice. From there on I went down their cover rabbit hole where I found them doing acoustic covers for songs as well.
The best thing about their covers is that they make sure to make it sound like their own song. If you try to copy the original artist, not only do people start to compare you but you also don't bring anything new to the song. For example, why would you listen to a cover if you could just listen to the original? My favorite covers from each member that showcases this and their vocals are "When I Was Your Man" covered by Noah originally by Bruno Mars, "Boyfriend" covered by Hamin originally by Justin Bieber, "Nan Chun" covered by Yejun originally by Se So Neon, "The Little Prince" covered by Bamby originally by Ryeowook, and "Understand" covered by Eunho originally by keshi.
Anyway, they are all super funny together and get along.
I've been very familiar to jpop and utaites (usually amateur singers who post vocaloid covers online using avatars to stay anonymous) where they hide their identity from their music like Ado and Mafumafu and even western and european music has their fair share of artists who hide their identities like Daft Punk, Sia, and Gorillaz so it's really refreshing to see the same thing now in mainstream kpop.
The kpop industry focuses extremely on the image of idols with impossible beauty standards, and in Korea, beauty is seen as an important value and plastic surgery is very common. This means not only do you need to be a great dancer, singer, and performer, but you also need to look perfect. There have been many idol diets that have gone viral for all the wrong reasons and idols are scrutinized if they look "too fat" or "too ugly." As much as it would be wonderful if the world were to stop caring about looks, it's unrealistic. Virtual idols open up this possiblility for talented people to have a shot at becoming an idol even if they don't fit beauty standards. Also as Ado said for one of her reasons to stay anonymous, it disconnects the music from how someone looks like. In kpop, many fans are notorious to like a group just because of their looks even if they don't even like their music. This idea helps avoid that which is one of the reasons why Plave is so popular. (Their music are bangers, you can't deny that despite them being virtual) Another thing is that because the kpop industry is so competitive, many groups disband or artists become "too old" and aren't popular anymore. Virtual idol groups help past idols or unsuccessful idols have another shot at making it in the industry.
Virtual idol groups help give privacy. All fandoms and fans of artists have toxic fans, and in kpop they call them sasaengs. These people stalk artists, follow them around and track their locations, are very obsessive, and invade their privacy. Of course virtual idol groups are no exception to this, Plave has had stalkers and doxxers (btw please DO NOT look up or try to find out their identities, this is invading their privacy and considered doxxing) but at least being a virtual idol gives them more privacy outside of their idol life and add another layer of protection especially when they are living their life outside of being a performer.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
During COVID-19 quarantine times, I learned about Animal Crossing: New Horizons (aka ACNH) and I had a blast making my island. At the time I played on a Nintendo Switch that was shared, and I learned about this game through my older brother. He made the island, but he eventually stopped playing which is when I swooped in a discovered it. If you don't know, if you don't buy the game again or reset your island, you cannot change the owner of the island. This means only the creator of the island can upgrade Nooks Cranny, etc. Anyway, it was a real pain in the butt especially since he didn't play. I developed my island with another sibling of mine also playing regularly, and we started to develop it and actually customize the island to our liking. After the island was fully customized, my sister decided to reset the island without my notice. Now she's the owner of the island and doesn't play anymore. :( I want to get back into ACNH now but it doesn't feel the same because I need to log into her account and do all upgrades and it's a hassle unless I restart the island again. Anyway, now that my rant is over, here are some things that I love from the game:
- The songs and music I adore all of the songs in ACNH, from the music that plays in the background while walking, to the tunes from K.K. Slider. All of them are all jams and I think that so much effort has went into the composition of the soundtrack. Another thing related to music is gyroids! They are so cute and I love to hang them in my house so I can have a little gyroid choir.
- The furniture and customization One thing I love about ACNH is all the furniture and the ability to customize. I think it's so fun decorating your house and planning how your island is, honestly I'm a bit jealous of other people's islands on the internet because they look so ellaborate and in depth. This is tied to one of the reasons why I want to go back to Animal Crossing, because my island is not done at all. I feel like the game has a vast catalogue (which is why it loads forever)
- The characters As someone who hasn't played any other Animal Crossing games, I really like the design of all the characters. (although some of them are kinda questionable) I feel like one thing they could work a bit more is the personalities of them (maybe make more personalities?) but overall I enjoy them.
- The clothes I feel like one really underrated thing in ACNH that people don't talk enough about are the clothes. Dressing up my avatar every time I log on is one of my favorite things to do. I feel like it's really rewarding going into Able Sisters and finally find a new piece you like to add in your collection.
Alien Stage (spoilers ahead! Please be aware!)
I feel like it took me a while to add to this part of my shrines collection is because it's my biggest obsession and there's so much I want to say. First of all, Alien Stage is a music video series that you can watch on youtube under the creator's channel, Vivinos. The whole series is so much more ellaborate tham just a music video series though, and I feel like if you just watch the videos on Vivinos's channel, you don't really get the whole story or you might be confused. With just the videos is good but with the other content she has, it's soo much better and it really goes in depth on the lore and background. Vivinos posts comics, pictures, interviews, and Alien Stage even has sub songs that don't have a video with it but are super amazing. (You can click on Alien Stage for the whole master doc)
Here's some background to how I discovered Alien Stage: Back at the begining, I saw the teaser and the first episode (Round 1) and I thought it was fine. I kind of kept along with the episodes when they posted but I think I really got into the series when Round 2 or All In was posted. This was because I thought the songs were such a bop and the year that All In came out I had it as my number one song of the year on Spotify. (lol now that I realize writing this I really went "All In" on Alien Stage back then)
Alien Stage Theories, Symbolism Explained, Etc.
- Ivan's Red Eyes When watching Black Sorrow, Ivan is shown at the beginning to have no red in his eyes. This was during his childhood where he lived in the slums. Even after going into Anakt Garden his eyes were fully black. The first time we see the color is when he notices Till walking past him to go to Mizi. We know Till as a rebellious person, someone who lashes out against the aliens and tries to fight for himself. It makes sense why Ivan is so obsessed with him, Till is the face of revolution and breaking rules. (the exact opposite of him) This red is not only a reflection for his obsession with Till, but also the act of rebellion. Ivan is one of the most obedient characters in Alien Stage, for example, he's known to not need a collar when in Anakt Garden unlike other kids (the collars are the white choker things that restrict you) because he does what the aliens want without it. Also he knew already knew how to escape Anakt Garden and could leave anytime but chooses not to. The red is his curiosity and his want to be defiant, which is one of the reasons why he loved Till so much. When Ivan and Till are seen in the meteor shower, Till chooses to stay in Anakt Garden for his feelings for Mizi instead of trading it for freedom. Ivan still has the red in his eyes despite not going through with this act of rebellion because Till is more important.
- One reason why Till is so rebellious is because of his mother Till was loved throughout his childhood with his mother, Lo. She cared for him, and they both had a deep bond for each other like mother and son. Most of the children in Alien Stage don’t have parents, because they are artificially made in a lab with clones. This is seen in Wiege with Luka and all his other clones that died with Luka killing them but having the intention of saving them, and even in the end of Karma where you see the Alien Stage museum that has children from the DNA of all of the contestants. Because Till was able to experience the love and bond between his mother, he was able to understand the aliens and their cruel acts and that what they were doing was wrong. His rebellious nature is from his trauma of having to leave his mother and of his past. Even if he didn't remember his mom, he experienced love and affection which changes his view of abuse from the aliens.
- All of the main ALNST ships are toxic or unhealthy People say that MiziSua is the least toxic ship, but this is not true. This is because it is revealed in one of the comics that the reason why Mizi loves Sua so much is because she feels powerful and can control Sua saying she wants to “crush her.” All her life, Shine has seen her as a pet and something that can be controlled. Even when Sua sometimes makes remarks Mizi gets mad because she doesn’t want to be seen that way. For example, in another comic Mizi tells Sua about how everyone doesn’t acknowledge their love for each other and vents to her about her problems. Sua dismisses this, and Mizi ends up slapping her in the face because she doesn’t want Sua to dismiss her problems even though she went through worse hardships. IvanTill is toxic due to Ivan’s obsession and his way of showing his love for Till by bullying him in order to get attention from Till. Even after Ivan dies and Till recognises his feelings, his ghost haunts him and his trauma even causes him to have selective mutism. MiziTill is toxic because not only does Mizi not reciprocate Till’s feelings, but she loves Sua. Shipping these two goes against canon events and even mischaracterizes Mizi and Till simultaneously. I wrote that this ship mischaracterizes Till because Till doesn’t have true feelings for Mizi. Till loves Mizi like a fan loves their idol, it’s only a facade they are seeing where they don’t acknowledge that they are either projecting or they are falling for someone who is not themselves. Till even says when he is older in a comic that it was a very immature crush like a crush someone has at school. HyuLuka is toxic for multiple reasons. First of all, Luka has no idea how to act and doesn’t understand what his wrongdoings are. For example, after he kills Hyunwoo, he smiles and laughs and just goes to Hyuna, ignoring and not noticing the severity of the situation. This is a similar reaction seen in Blink Gone, where he laughs and covers his mouth while Till and Luka are singing against each other for their lives. It could be that he does this as a coping mechanism, he thinks it’s a game, or probably because he still thinks like a child due to not growing up to be mature because of the environment he grew up in. This is confirmed because in Wiege, he goes to Hyuna like a little kid and it’s even shown that he drew a picture back when they were kids in Anakt Garden showing how he acts very child-like. Hyuna’s feelings are toxic because her feelings were built on hate. She hated Luka for killing her brother and she also started hating herself for still loving Luka despite that. When Hyuna died, her death was not only seen as an act of love for Luka by sacrificing herself for him, but also an act of revenge because she showed Luka that she did care for him and now she was dead.
- Shine (Mizi's alien owner) is toxic despite having good intentions Shine views Mizi as an owner views a pet dog. They are cute, and she acts as if she’s her plaything. Even though Shine doesn’t have cruel intentions, she still ends up hurting Mizi, as seen in a picture of Shine pulling on her hair and even being too rough with her, showing how humans are seen as very delicate or else they could be crushed. Shine’s behavior not only hurts Mizi physically, but also mentally. The way Shine views Mizi causes her to not want to be seen that way and be too overbearing with Sua, wanting to control her instead of being controlled like with Shine.
- IvanTill could have ended very differently (lol of course Vivinos just wanted us to suffer though) For example, if Ivan was never found in the slums, he could have been part of the rebellion or if he left Anakt Garden he could have become part of the rebellion. Also, if Ivan knew that Till drew him and not only Mizi, he said things would have ended very differently. He might have changed his approach with Till, or he would have revealed his feelings to him and they would be together because at the end of the day, Till had underlying feelings for Ivan over his idolization love for Mizi. For example, in Karma when showing the symbolism of the two characters with Ivan shoving his crystal heart into Till’s mouth like his sudden reveal in round 6, Till had his heart hidden under Ivan’s collar. This showed that Till did feel something in between them that was hidden and unknown, never to be noticed by Ivan. Proof of this is also in Mi Vida Loca, which will be in a more in depth analysis in a later claim, and the fact that Till not only didn’t like Ivan due to his bullying, but he was also his best friend and the person who he was closest to with in Anakt Garden with him not being that close with Mizi due to his idolization and the fact that because he was aware of his feelings he could never properly be himself around her.
- Hyuna's rocket project actually references real world expeditions we did today Hyuna’s project was to get pet human records and to send them with the rocket as a symbol of hope and to communicate with other humans in the galaxy. This idea is very similar to the Arecibo Message or the Voyager Golden Records. The Arecibo Message was a message sent to space carrying basic information about Earth and humanity to show the advancement of human technology. The Voyager Golden Records on the other hand were phonograph records that contained sounds and data of Earth and life for any extraterrestrial life like a time capsule. The Voyager Golden Records in particular was a sign for hope that there is life out in space that can reach us through that like Hyuna’s rocket was for other humans. This project in Alien Stage tries to connect viewers to this moment in time and how humanity is still intact even after so much change since Alien Stage takes place in the fictional future. The whole story of Alien Stage is to show people’s relationships and people’s core, raw, emotions in a society that is broken.
- There are so many flowers in ALNST used as symbolism Many flowers are shown in Alien Stage, the two that are the most important are the Clematis and Red Anemone flowers. Another thing that is associated with flowers that is shown is flower crowns. The Clematis is shown in Alien Stage in the chorus and song in Round 1 with Mizi and Sua singing the duet of it with part of the chorus being “Oh my Clematis.” Clematis’ outside Alien Stage means mental strength and spiritual growth. In the song and in the series, they represent love and passion, with Mizi and Sua singing against each other until Sua dies. The red anemone flower represents romantic and forsaken love, death, and the loss of a loved one. The red anemone flowers represent the relationships between the characters with all three couples having an unfortunate end. Another thing that needs to be taken into account with the anemone flowers is that in the story the flowers are used as cameras to spy on the kids in Anakt Garden. This shows the deception and the lies to their reality, as well as Ivan’s awareness to everything and his loss of innocence from a young age because he was the only one who knew that the flowers were actually cameras. This is one of the reasons why he destroyed Till’s flower crown because he didn’t want them spying on them and also because that was the only way to get Till’s attention from Mizi. The last flower that is important in Alien Stage isn’t actually a flower, it’s the way flowers are presented, in the form of a flower crown. In multiple Alien Stage works from Vivinos and Qmeng, the six main characters have been seen playing and making flower crowns. They are also shown in some of the rounds like in Round 1 with My Clematis. The flower crowns are always paired with the younger version of the characters, probably representing how they are young and innocent. This is tied to my previous story about the red anemone flower crowns and Ivan.
- There's a reason why "Wiege" is called "Weige" The word “Weige” is German for “cradle.” It can also be used figuratively to refer to the early stages or starting point of something. This word is clever because it not only relates to the style of the song, but also how the characters are affected afterwards. For instance, Weige is put in the 3/3 time signature, which sounds like a waltz. Hyuna and Luka are singing softly, with the orchestra as instrumental showing how it relates to the word “cradle.” Another thing is that in the song, the lyrics are “Hush my child,” which refers again to the word. I suspect the song is a lullaby sung by Luka and Hyuna to their child in another universe because in the middle of the episode, Vivinos and Qmeng show us and alternate universe where Mizi, Sua, Till, and Ivan are alive and in school while Luka and Hyuna are married and happily together because they are shown with rings on. “Weige” relates to the figurative meaning of it as well because at the end of the episode, Hyuna dies, Till is found to be alive, and Mizi is labeled as a witch. The word relates to Luka and Hyuna because it’s the start of Luka being exploited again from the aliens and losing the one person he loved. Till relates to “Weige” because it’s a new start for him joining the rebellion and getting on the path to healing, and the word applies to Mizi because it’s the start of her becoming a witch and hating and blaming herself for what happened. This word also applies to the story overall because it’s a new era with the show Alien Stage shutting down seen in the last scene with the museum.
- Even though ALNST is not over, it will be probably be different Alien Stage fans have just received news that STUDIO LICO and Vivinos’ partnership is ending. This means that if there is another season with videos being animated, it will be totally different. I do suspect that Vivinos and Qmeng will continue Alien Stage in their work like comics and possibly songs but not necessarily in animation. Recently I have found a post online complaining about how it is really hard to story build and understand details by only watching the videos, which I do agree, but I view Alien Stage as a multi-format story. In order to understand the characters and the story, you need to be able to not just watch the videos, but also listen to the songs and read the comics.
NewJeans
NewJeans Now:
Unfortunately, I have recently started becoming a fan of NewJeans. If you were not in the kpop community in 2023, you may be asking why I used the word "unfortunately." This is because NewJeans is now inactive and have been for quite a bit. They are in a pickle with legal issues with Hybe and Ador (their entertainment company) and are unknown if they are to come back. I will not be going into the legal details of them because I don't feel very qualified as a new fan and I have not done enough research. If you want to go into a deep dive on why they're inactive now, feel free to look into it on your own. Also funny enough, back in 2023 and 2022 when they became a hit, I liked their songs but wasn't really a fan but now when they're unactive I appreciate their music and sound more.
The birth of NewJeans:
Back in 2022/2023, NewJeans was created with no teasers, trailers, or notice. On July 22 in 2022, they debuted with their first music video, "Attention." With this new song, they gained instant fame and it became number one South Korea’s Circle Digital Chart within 24 hours. They grew in popularity with their other songs like "Hype Boy" and "Cookie." The reason why they exploded in kpop is because they have an extremely fresh and distinct sound that is different from what the rest of kpop is doing. They combine uk grunge, jersey club, and R&B elements into their instrumentals while also having light voices. Their tunes are extremely catchy and they combine western ideas of music with kpop. If you listen to a few of their songs, you will understand that they have a very distinct sound.
Another reason why they popped off the charts early is because of their concept. They used a very Y2K nostalgic concept which is seen in their music videos where they use old camcorders and cameras as well as CDs in their song "Cookie" and VHS tapes. (I will get more into the song and it's meaning more below) They use lenses in music videos that evoke nostalgia with light leaks, or vignetting that make it feel like old film or disposable cameras. If NewJeans debuted right now, I wouldn't bat an eye at their concept because it is now so popularized by them, which is why they were a breath of fresh air back then. I think that they brought Y2K to mainstream kpop and made it a whole concept instead of just exploring it a bit like in the past with aespa and NCT Dream covering 90's songs.
NewJeans, the new "it" group
After their debut, NewJeans exploded in kpop. When I mean they were big, I mean it. They were on track for becoming as big as BTS and Blackpink and solidifying their name among kpop history in stardom. Many songs of theirs hit the charts, with their most popular being "Super Shy," (the Super Shy dance challenge was everywhere) "OMG," "ETA," "Ditto," and more. They even won multiple daesangs (biggest kpop award, equivalent to winning a Grammy in the west), the highest achievement you can get in very little time. They have won 10 daesangs, crowning them the most awarded female artists in the shortest amount of time. Remember, they debuted in 2022 and went inactive on March 23, 2025.
The aftermath
Now that NewJeans is inactive and on a temporary indefinite hiatus due to legal issues with Hybe, they are seen to come back again but it will not be the same due to Hybe terminating Danielle's contract and Minji still being undecided on returning. The only members that have confirmed that they will go back to Ador are Haerin, Hanni, and Hyein. It is not confirmed when they will resume activities.

My Fav K-dramas (spoiler free you're welcome, also in no particular order)
- Twinkling Watermelon I thought this was really fun and lighthearted and it never made me bored with the plot. Usually slice-of-life media focuses a lot on romantic relationships, but this didn't really focus on that aspect so I really appreciated it.
- Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born I think that Jeongnyeon is soo unique and interesting and I haven't seen any story really like it. It's centered around gukgeuk which is a combination of pansori (a traditional korean genre of music that tells a story through song and usually has a drummer as well) with dancing and acting. It features Yeoseong Gukgeuk which is female gukgeuk where troops are all women and women play the role of males and females. I think the story is unique in the way it has gukgeuk but also the plot twist and how the main character deals with all the challenges that come her way.
- Mr. Queen Mr. Queen is one of my favorite Kdramas because it's soo funny. It's a period drama and also an isekai and the things the main character does is hilarious. I definitely reccomend if you like to laugh.
- Squid Game Squid game is such a 100/10 kdrama and my favorite one out of all of them. If I ever gave reccomendations to people who want to try out kdramas or even people who are into kdramas already, I would reccomend Squid Game season 1. Season 2 and 3 are a different story, I felt like they weren't as good. It's not that they were bad, but season 1 just blew my mind that it couldn't really compare. Anyway, if you haven't seen it I reccomend it one thousand times over and there's a reason why it was so popular even globally.
- All of Us are Dead I recently finished watching this one with my family and I thought it was pretty good. I'm a sucker for anything post-apopcalyptic or sci-fi so this was definitely up my alley. The only thing I didn't like was the last episode, I thought that it would have been a lot better if the series ended without it. I find that kdramas have a tendency to want a lot of closure in a story so I felt like it dragged a bit too long for my liking.
