I already saw the announcement the day that it came out, but Alien Stage is finally getting somewhat of a continuation with Zombie Stage! I'm so excited and can't wait until the first episode drops! Also just like Mizi, I ended up cutting my hair into a pixie this summer and I actually really like it! For the past forever I've wanted to have short hair with inspiration from Mizi and Haruhi from Ouran Highschool Host Club, as well as a bunch of other irl people. This time, I finally commited and decided to go out despite people telling me I can't wear my hair in a ponytail anymore, (which is what I previously did all the time because my hair is so thick and poofy out of it) and that it would be a lot of upkeep which is far from the truth. Yes, I do need haircuts more often, but styling is easy. I just use a roller for my bangs without heat while my hair is wet and that's all aside from running my hands through my hair in the morning with water to tone down my bed head. Anyway, if you're thinking of cutting your hair short, do it!6/1/2026:
Lately I haven't really been updating the site because I've been enjoying the freedom of summer and summer break! We recently got off school and now I have nothing to do, I've been catching up on a lot of sleep. (I love how during the school season my acne acts up but when summer comes I clear up, I think it's the stress) Anyway, now I'm worrying about standardized tests for college and summer work. I don't know why but my school gives us so much summer homework, especially compared to other schools in my area which have none. :,( Yay more suffering. On the bright side, I'm really glad summer is here and I actually have time to do nothing! No complaints about that!5/15/2026:
This past week and the week before I've been so swamped with AP exams it's so torturous but thankfully I finished my last one a few days ago so I'm free! Yay! Anyway, now's the final push for finals and then I'll finally be done with this hellhole. Also I've recently been getting back into more 2nd gen kpop since Hybe and a lot of groups that have recently released songs haven't really vibed with me. For example, (please don't come after me I love these groups I just don't love the songs they're coming out with now, this is all subjective) I don't really like Katseye's "Pinky Up," and I'm actually pretty worried with them.I feel like they are becoming more sexualized, like the girls wearing almost nothing which is fine if they like that, but maybe tone it down a little because it's now every. single. outfit. (Also can I point out that even though Yoonchae is the maknae and just recently became an adult the other girls are not that much older?) Another example of them being sexualized is in the "Pinky Up" music video, where Megan is shown on a fountain and Yoonchae who is seen riding a horse. Idk it just seems like they're being capitalized and sexualized. Also you can't forget their controversies with Hybe and Manon.
Anyway, back to songs that haven't really been bangers for me, I don't really like Illit's new comeback with "It's Me," I think that it can be pretty annoying although I love their other songs and I'm not really feeling Cortis's new comeback either, which is why I've been listening to older kpop. (I've wanted to do this anyway tbh because I know the ogs are absolute bangers)
I've been listening to SHINee so much (I'm greiving Jonghyun) as well as EXO, SUPER JUNIOR (Omg "Sorry, Sorry" is so iconic I totally forgot it existed), and even Block B and MAMAMOO (which I stan but I haven't listened to their music for a long time) (Also their music video for "Um Oh Ah Yeh" is soooo good and funny)

I watched the movie Project Hail Mary today and it was pretty good, the real reason why I wanted to write a blog though is to tell you the experience I had in the movie theater. There were these kids behind me who were probably in late middle school or early high school and they had ZERO manners in the movie theater and it kinda ruined the first half of the movie. First of all, they were talking for the majority of the time that they were there and they even made a ruckus when they left in the middle of the movie as well. (Thank goodness that they ended up leaving early because they started to piss me off) Another thing they did was that they put their feet on top of my friend's chairs and even pushed the back of their chairs as well. I don't even know how it was even possible for them to do that becasue the chairs have a lot of room in between them especially since they have the recline feature. When the movie was over, I looked in the middle of the isle and it was covered in a ton of popcorn and the place looked pretty trashed. I felt extremely bad for the poor workers who had to clean up after them.Anyway, moral of the story is don't be a butthole when you're at the movies and please for the love of everything good and nice don't talk and be mindful when you're in public, not just in the movie theater. I know that everyone wants to enjoy the movie so even if you're with your friends please have etiquette and don't be afraid to tell them off if you see them doing something like this as well.

I just had a cello audition on the weekend and it was actually one of my best ones! It had an interview, sightreading, and I had to play part of a solo piece. (I played the 1st page of the Haydn cello concierto in C major) My solo piece was played just like I practiced, (except for the part where my leg started involuntarily shaking which was a first, I didn't mess up I was just caught off guard) I didn't absolutely die during sightreading, and I thought my interview went really well! I'm really proud of my audition and even if I don't get accepted, I'm still satisfied with it. :DUpdate: 3/20/2026
I didn't get accepted, but I did end up becoming an alternate for what I was auditioning for! I kinda have mixed feelings, of course I'm happy and excited that I even came this far but at the same time if I don't get into the program this year I have the risk of failing or doing bad when I'm auditioning next year. I don't know, but anyway I'm content with how far I've come, I expected to be rejected a long time ago!

I just found out one of my friends who also plays cello who applied for the same thing as me got waitlisted as well lol. I guess we're now competing head to head, I wish I knew which one of us is higher up. Good luck to him though, no hard feelings, I honestly thought out of the two of us he would be more likely to make it.
